Radio Free Whatever 6925 KHZ AM 12-15-2013 0235z+
« on: December 15, 2013, 0237 UTC »
Two OM's doing a WWII/Pearl Harbor retrospect show.  About S9 here, peaks to a bit over +10.

0238z Andrew's Sisters "Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy"
0254z fades seem to be getting deeper, down to S7 at times.
0259z "This is a Radio Free Whatever Timewarp" ID
0309z A slow crooner tune, reminds the Old professor of the looney tunes with the guys singing on stage, and all you can see is his arms and legs behind the mic stand.
0336z "Chattanooga Choo-Choo"
0343z Closing break, email as djdickweed@gmail.com
0343z Signoff

Splitting time between the kitchen and the radio room, enjoying the laid-back swing though :)

Production is nice and tight, great work!

Reporting that the Japanese are attacking in the Pacific and I'm listening on a Japanese radio. What does that mean. S9 signal by the way.

Tuned in at 0328Z, swing music playing.  Email addy and ID and then off at 0343Z.

S7, sounded better here on either SSB than AM.

Thanks for the tunes!

SDR recording catch. 0233 sign on with Soviet Anthem. Quite weak here, not much above the noise floor.
