Good signal from Doctor Benway, S7 in New Hampshire

Live show from the doctor, saying Happy New Year to all us listeners.  Talking about trying to inspire other stations to get on 1720 kHz and all the PRB and RFW relays he's done on the frequency during the past couple of weeks.

Thanks for the remarks on you experiences on 1710.  I was curious of whether your operation there resulted in getting some emails from listeners outside of the normal pirate radio enthusiasts.

Nice reception here in MD.

Good to hear you on MW, Dr. Benway. It brings back memories of listening to the NYC MW pirates back in the 80s.

Tuned in at 0130utc. Quite weak but I can make out some of the speech, it does sound like Dr Benway. BTW, Kenwood & dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Very nice S9 signal from Dr. Benway tonight at 0132 UTC (1/1/14) talking casually about the mediumwave operations and saying he's going to shut down to cool things off for a while.

I tried for ya here, Doc.  A nice solid carrier on top of a +7 noise floor but very little modulation rising up.  Thanks for the mediumwave show!
