Dating old antenna installation ?
« on: November 28, 2025, 0327 UTC »
Was snooping around my in-laws house (built late 30’s and noticed an old SW antenna instillation in the attic.  It’s a pair of dipoles at right angles to each other,  maybe 10-15 m total length.  Based on the insulators, etc, any guesses on how old the installation might be?

The brown insulators look like they may be Bakelite, the first synthetic plastic, popular from 20's to 50's.
