any idea what this is?  I've heard it last nite and tonight with just a discone and dipole in the attic. I can imagine what it would be if the good antennas were up.   the signal is strong about s9+20.
Receiver: SDRPlay RSP-1
Antenna:  70 foot long wire

This is STANAG 4481 FSK.  850 Hz shift, 75 bd, KG-84 encrypted.  What a lot of people call 850 Hz shift RTTY when they see it, or RATT.  However, the transmitter or the audio is very messed up, and there is a lot of noise in the passband of the transmitter.

Wow! What a signal----Every night it's been blasting S9+20. Any idea of it's QTH and power output? Hopefully "someday" it will move.  :(
+ Equipment: Yaesu FRG 100B, Kenwood R-1000, Yaesu FRG7,
+ Antenna: 75' dipole, height 21', running north and south.  Chicagoland area.

Think of it as modern day RTTY.  It uses the same basic technique as old school RTTY, but it does not carry strictly the same thing anymore.
