UNID on about 6945 kHz AM, 3/14/14

0144 utc, sounds bluesy

Maybe S-9 on peaks out of the noise.

"Get it on, bang a gong" coming out of the noise at 0148 utc.

01:49  pretty good S8 signal into Illinois. Getting a bit hammered by local QRM.

01:52 song CARS - "Let the Good Times Roll"  --- Tend to agree with you refmo.  UNID moved up the freq.
01:55 possible ID - can barely hear OP - into new song.
01:59 off abruptly (going up the freq again?)

I think this is the same station that was on 6925, S8, audio a little stronger, maybe turned on some processing.

0151 - "Good Times Roll" by The Cars
0155 - "Deadbeat Club" by The B-52's

I believe a whispered ID @ 0200 but I missed it.
