I was in the car and found 104.5 on the air again, this was around 1426 UTC. I just got home and it's 1515. I did not have a chance to keep track of what was played while in the car. This station is heard no further north than Rocky Hill (following Route 9), no further west than Route 91 in Cromwell or the border of Middletown/Middlefield (via route 66) and no further south than the border of Middletown/Durham (via route 17). My estimation is it is somewhere not far from the Cromwell Crossroads (rt.3 vs rt 372 vs rt. 9)
Signal is stronger than normal, it was clear all the way home, there is usually static spots the further away I get, there were none today.
They must be done with the history if rock & roll program as they are back to the hot 100 program. The format they use has a Jingle (a recent addition) followed by the year and then the chart number (mostly Text To Speech, sometimes sung). This is done every 10 songs. The chart position is said before each song. The entire program seems to be automated but with huge gaps between program elements (up to 5 seconds) instead of regular segues. Differences will be noted.

Ok, sorry, I need to stop here. It's been fun, but I have to eat and do chores.
The chart rankings in the brackets come from 104.5. The chart rankings I use come from the Unofficial Spreadsheet of the Whitburn Project "Billboard Pop ME (1890-2026)" 20260228 edition. I find the difference between the two sources very interesting (who do they use? can anyone tell?)
