Radiosonde reception May 15, 2014
« on: May 15, 2014, 1428 UTC »
After a fairly long drought, there was finally a favorable launch from Sterling this morning. Here's the path, I first started to receive the sonde near Frederick MD, just before burst at 32,265 meters. I lost the signal NE of Gettysburg, at 4,130 meters.

Awesome.  What kind of antenna are you using for this?

Mostly, I use a modified WiFi dish, along with a satellite (900-2500 MHz) pre-amp.
