I have never used that locator system so as our American saying goes it was "all Greek to me".  it was with pleasure and thanks to Google I can see that you are just north of Athens which must be a great spot to hear things from.

10,872.3   K clear but is also weak
4097.25  maybe heard the Whooper, but wishful thinking?

strong "A" in CW on 2097.300 kHz at 05:30 PST and it faded out pretty quickly by 06:00 PST

I try to be thorough and check as many frequencies as possible but some mornings I don't have much time. I usually check the 2097 "A" beacon first but nothing at 06:30 PST. As I trolled through the list of Russian cluster beacons I cought a weak but good "K" on 7039.3 KHz

Wow! That is very nice of you. I wanted to share what is possible even in an urban environment. Different beacons can be heard at different times of year  and times of day so check all of the known beacons and you may be pleasently surprised. Ever since I first heard the Russian beacons I've been more patient and willing to search a while longer.
