0008: Another open carrier... not sure if piratical or not.

I think this was the carrier prior to the old time radio shows starting.

0024: Sounds like an old time radio show. S9 signal, some static from t-storms.
Drifting a bit. Started on 6880.3, down to 6880.0 now. And static  levels going up.

Open carrier first, then audio here at 0023 UTC with poor to fair signal just above the noise floor...frequency drifting down slowly from 6880.3 at 0023 UTC to 6879.9 at 0033 UTC
Back up to 6880.2 at 0036 UTC and yes, the noise has pretty much overwhelmed the signal here.
Seems to have settled down on 6880.2 and the signal has improved a bit over the last 10 minutes. Poor to Fair copy at 0048 UTC

Weak to fair in NE Ohio at 0030 tunein but lots of noise and static from the storms around us.

Still hearing it at 0130 but going to have to disconnect my ANT soon - really severe storm coming across Lake Erie now.

Static, 0113. Decent carrier level, but audio is beat up with static crashes. Reminds me of 6772.x the other night

Finally made it back to the radio. Tuned in around 0345 & heard a Colgate toothpaste ad, then I think it went into Dennis the Menace, but I need to check the recording. Signal was S9, but static crashes were hitting S9 or a bit higher. Woke up during a thunderstorm at 0840 & could hear a weak carrier close to 6881, so I'm guessing that it might be the same station. Thanks to whoever is making these long broadcasts!
