Tuned in at 0230utc, weak with static, hear audio thru the mud, R2000 & 7mhz dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Just above the noise floor here at 0223 UTC with big bass techno beat...man announcer...ID and chat with email address. UNID tune. Tough copy here in Western MA. Nice to hear you again though!
0244 UTC Signal getting better...S7 now with funky sounding tune
0249 UTC Shoutouts to HFU posters, time check as 50 minutes on the nose, and X-FM ID. Thanks for the shoutout Mr. Red Hat!!!
0305 UTC Signal up to S8-S9 now! I wish I was familiar with the tunes...I'm alt and grunge challenged unless it's Rooster or Pearl Jam...rap challenged too.
0309 UTC "The power of X"...email suggesting News at the top of the hour? Just check out the chat room for the latest! Sometimes not for the pure of heart...
0325 UTC Signal down a bit, but still well above the noise....haven't been able to ID a song yet...thanks for playing tunes you don't normally hear on the radio!
0333 UTC "Roast Fish and Cornbread"-Bob Marley (Got one!) (Oh well, almost got one! I'm checking google on this....)
Evil Elvis and Shazam....I just got educated on this....btw, what is Collie Weed? Does it have something to do with the Rastafarian movement? You would do Haille Selaisse proud!
0405 UTC Still hearing you above the noise here...I'm about half asleep now. Thank you very much for an entertaining evening Mr. Red Hat! I guess I'll pick up on the close down in the AM.  :) :) :)
0419 UTC I lied...Abacab by Genesis ( and Sultans of Swing-Dire Straits just after "Roast Fish and Cornbread" ) That makes 2 positive ID's on tunes. Good night all.....great show tonight!
