Has anybody noticed that the colors in the symbols of Windows, Google, and Ebay use the same colors?

It's more likely that the designs stem from the same influences, rather than being the result of collaboration among the companies. For instance, the Art Center College of Design was very influential during the early days of the video game industry. Mattel sent many of it's game graphical designers there. From what the Wikipedia article says, the place continues to be big in the graphic design world. I'm sure that there are other schools that have had similar influence.

Oh, I'm sure they are. I know they've all been watching me very closely, and posting here has probably put you on "the List" as well.

Hmm. I like to believe they're in cahoots.   ;)

The List is real?
The sad thing is its true, but for the purpose of tailoring ads to me so they can milk me, the consumer, for my money.  We're just cows.
On the paranoid side, I am comforted by fact that I have my computer's camera physically covered so they can't spy on me  ::)

But what about the spyPad? It's built-in camera is just looking right at you! And up your nostrils nonetheless.
