11980 (rx in USB using 2.4 khz filter)

Came across this signal yesterday and not sure if it's a jammer or a strange sounding UTE.  Signal was strongest with antenna facing south & by 23:05z signal nosedived.  At around 23:01z signal sounded like it paused for just a split second & then restarted with a slightly different pattern.

22:44z-23:10z Audio
Indoors: WR-G33DDC & TT RX-340_DX Eng. 4-Square Array / Outdoors: Belka-DX_Whip / Poolside: SMC HF-150_MMD-40 (D.O.G.) / Off Air/Studio Recordings

Totally heard the same thing! Reminds me of some QRM my neighbors microwave makes. I can actually hear it go on that's how loud his microwave is.

Very curious sound. Obviously -- it's propagating. Looks like it's real strong, too. Cuba?

No idea why it would fade like that. 25 Meters is pretty much a night time friendly band. Everything south of you would have been in darkness.
