S7 here, listening in DSB since the carrier is barely there.  A couple of "Man Cave Radio" ID's @ 0111z
"Doom and Gloom" by the Stones @ 0112z.
Off for a few seconds at 0130z, then back on with a better carrier and into "Blurred Lines" again. ID @ -0134z.  Seems to be a replay.  Listening in AM now.
Off @ 0146z.

DSB = Double Side-Band.  Both side-bands are present, both containing the same information.  Same as an AM signal, except the carrier is suppressed/nulled.
You can use DSB,LSB, or USB to receive.  Listening in DSB can give poorer reception than listening to a single side-band, due to phase differences between the two side-bands causing fading.

It's also possible to have different programming on each side-band which would be ISB (Independent Side-Band).  I've only heard it a handful of times in 40 years of listening.

Waterfall showing signal with audio but just above the noise here. Catching bits and pieces of music being played, the Stones at 0113. Hopefully signal gets better as show goes on. S5-6 :-\ did catch ID at 0126. First time catch of any station using Double Sideband(DSB). I do know that DSB is a better efficient way of broadcasting AM by 30% but did not know anybody ever used it. Never to old to learn. :)

S7 signal here at 0126 UTC tune in...man announcer with ID..."Man Cave Radio, into UNID C&W/folk tune. Using USB here as there is a slight buzz on LSB. Signal seems to have faded a bit into the noise...best now on LSB at 0135 UTC. Is there something else on the frequency?
0142 UTC ID? followed by another UNID C&W tune, possibly by the same artist? Switched back to USB as there is a het or whine on LSB. Signal just above the noise now.
I get nothing after 0145 UTC...off? Interesting...I had garbled reception in AM, but there seemed to be a slight trace of a carrier. Hmmm

Good signal here but terrible audio.  10 over S9 readable in SSB although seems to be an AM signal.

Pretty strong signal at 0119U. Decided on USB but LSB was good too. Got country songs and ID. Suddenly off at 0130U.

~0115+, 6/9/14.  Music audible just above static floor.

I'm doing something else, so I'm not fully tuned in, but I haven't heard anything that I can make out either with music or talk.

Yes, DSB - USB and LSB without carrier.  Best of what can be made out in AM.

Also caught this listening in USB with a good signal from 01:16z-01:30z - when station came back on signal strength was lower, but still decent.

Man Cave Radio show 01:16z-01:46z Audio
