Buy a copy of VMware instead of more hardware.  You can sandbox it (except for the Ethernet input of the radio) and it will be a lot less trouble than a PC laptop.

Bootcamp is isn't difficult to set up. I'm running Windows XP under Bootcamp for a Persues SDR and the Studio1 software.
