I hears some AM on 6925. Its very weak. Definitely music. Sun is down here in California.

Sounds like old big band or jazz. I heard a jazzy clarinet. Then some band trumpets faded in.

It fades in and out of noise.

Better now. Definitely big bandish music. A male singer. Can't make out words to song.  Noise isn't as bad and very little fading. I switched the polarity on my loop and it came in better. I have alligator clips onto some 75ohm coax that goes out to my skyloop near my house.

Thanks Monday night pirate! I got little sleep last night and need to go to bed now!

0430
Even better now.  Sounds like the music from the era of the Little Rascals TV episodes.

OK, I mean it now, I'm going to bed. Good night.

I heard what seems to be the same station last night around 0415, but the audio was really weak here. Decent carrier. Not sure if the audio was just weak or if the signal was coming from a long distance (much like how many Europirates sound at my QTH).

Hello, I'm currently reading your Pirate Radio Stations book!
Cooool, I've only heard one Europirate, Border Hunter in the day time on 15mhz.  Now that you mention it, it did give a pretty good signal on my portable's meter.  But I reported the signal as a 1 and 2 because that is what it "sounded" like.
It behaved differently than the usual American stations I hear in the way the music was effected by the propagation.  As the reception was getting better the music modulation was bad but later became fine.

SDR recording catch

0327 Sign on, carrier observed on the SDR waterfall.
0400 I could start to hear audio / music around this time. Not strong enough to make out any details, unfortunately.
0513 Off.

Recorder Catch on 6925 AM

I had pretty much the same reception here last nite.  The Strength History was reporting a solid S6-S7 carrier with little fading, but not much audio noted until near the show's end.

I think I heard this station also just after 0400Z only I thought it was on upper sideband unless it was a different station. Heard here on the west coast of BC with a good S8 signal playing dixieland jazz or something like that. I was having a qso with a friend on another radio at the time so I didn't listen long but given the signal at my location, I suspect this station was out west somewhere...
