Actually 6928.980

0111z "Operator" Jim Croce
0113z ??? song [cut short]
0114z "Time of Your Life" Green Day [cut short]
0116z another song
0119z "Drops of Jupiter" Train [Excellent VA band  :D ]
0121z announcement but too much pescadore QRM to pull out
0122z "a head in search of a body..."
0127z flipped to USB till 0128z, then gone?

Light copy but pretty good sound. Music is at a better level than mic mix level

Way too much QRM on LSB

Tuned in at 0112utc, fair sig, nice rock/pop from 70's and late 60's, R2000 & dipole. (edit) most of those tunes I've never hear or heard of before. Also watching Wrath of Khan on the CW.

I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Had to turn the PC back on and log into HFU to report this one! Tuned in at 0110 UTC but it took me a minute or so to realize it was LSB. Same details as Rafman. 0119 UTC the Song was cut short, then a man talking at 0121 about something followed by ambient music. Strange, but I doubt this is a pesky...

Off at 0127 UTC as I was posting the above...hmmm...very unusual ??? Will have to listen back on the recording tomorrow. Thanks for the mystery whoever you are! :)

I used to have a R-2000 a long time ago. It was my first HF receiver.

Tough audio and now there's chatting adjacent to the broadcast.

Music and voice heard fading in and out. The music comes through okay, but voice has modulation problems.

I am glad someone else confirmed what I thought I heard. The announcement was rough sounding to begin with, along with HUGE pescadore interfluences :'(
That's why I noted the use of LSB [or non use as a better idea]...

I had it zoomed in close on the monitor and it was LSB for sure. I had good music at first, but the SS on 6.930 are putting out a wide signal chatting and that came through towards the end. I never got the voice tuned in. It was always muffled and unintelligible.

UnId, 0114 - 0129, 9.22.14.  70's songs with dead air between, perhaps an ID but not audible enough, weird music with unintelligable talk, briefly in USB until off 0129 or lost to pesky on 6930L.

Still couldn't make out if there was an ID after listening to the recording.

SDR recording catch. 0109 sign on with Jim Croche "Operator", generally an SIO 333. Switched to USB for the last minute or so.

I listened back on the recording and after the song "Drops of Jupiter" by Train was cut short, a man was talking about freemasonry and the masons...cryptic phrases like "strange and mysterious name". After that the "ambient" music sounded more like background music to a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits story with a woman saying something like..."help me my head needs another body". Snippets of song followed before Deguello....seemingly off abruptly. No ID's and I had good reception here, despite some ute and pesky QRM. Another mystery ???
