Captain Morgan SW 6924.14 khz AM 00:37 utc Oct 5 2014
« on: October 05, 2014, 0049 UTC »
6924.14 khz AM  ~S6 , considerable interference from a LSB signal on 6925 khz
00:37 utc - Could hear bits of Beethoven's 5th, anticipating an ELO tune?
Did not hear an ID
00:40 utc  UNID blues tune
00:42 begin another blues tune then audio off abruptly mid tune
00:41:32 utc Carrier Off

00:56 utc carrier back on - Beethoven's 5th again...
00:59 utc heard the announcer this time but could not make out what he said - into the blues again.
...
1:07 utc Captain Morgan SW ID  - few S7 peaks now
...
1:12 utc another CMSW Id - signal still improving for me - Averaging S7 now

Thanks for the show Captain...

Same details as rockpicker here.  announcer with a southern accent [was actually an old comic, not announcer].  Big S9 signal and good audio, except would occasionally cut out briefly.  Then suddenly off mid-song.

Trying it again @ 0058z, repeat of earlier show, still has audio cut-outs though.
Audio doing better since about 0104, cut-out free.

Captain Morgan ID @ 0107z and the blues continues - 'You Upset Me Baby' by BB King.  Thanks for the show!

S9+5 here.  Only caught the last couple of minutes before 0041*.  I guess I assumed that this was Captain Morgan from the sound of it.

0056 Starting back up, Beethoven 'n blues
0107 Captain Morgan SW ID
0125 some sound effects and ID; it almost sounded like Captain Morgan was doing a pre-Halloween chainsaw test?
0133 Hendrix - "Watchtower" after an ID loop
0136 off

Thanks Captain!
