SINPO 45555. Surprisingly decent audio, too.

0024z - banjo music
0026z - Family Guy FCC skit

Not QRM since the frequency is clear (here anyway), but probably not a traditional pirate station, either. Move to 10/11 forum if needed. Thanks!

I was rolling the VFO through the 11m CB band to see how upper HF conditions were as we move into evening time here at the QTH.

Check the 10/11 forum. Lots of interesting - and some outright bizarre - stuff on the 11m band, especially when propagation to Europe is available.

When I was a teenager my first "pirate" shows took place on the 11 meter freeband. I had an HR2510 and went down to 25.500 a few times too. Not sure anyone ever found me on there though. We didn't have nice forums like this to know.

I loved that HR2510. I would enjoy owning one again today. I still like a little CB anarchy every once in a while.

I used to be big into talking DX on CB back in the early- to mid-1990s.

These days 11m CB is hardly any worse than certain frequencies on the 20m and 75m amateur radio bands. Admittedly, those bands can provide lots of "interesting" listening opportunities, too. ;)
