CYOT 6953.7v AM 2158 31 october 2014
« on: October 31, 2014, 2158 UTC »
Odd noises Scary Noises S6 here.

Drifting down in Freq

Oh Canada, playing past 2200 UTC

A pretty bad hum is creeping into this signal
6953.6 Chicago, 25 or 6 two four 2206
Actually find its easier to hear in standard AM Mode, vs Synchronous AM.
May have been an ID at 2209?

Reviewed SSTV captures today and found this one waiting for me.

2156 Coyotes yipping
2200 "Oh Canada", so I'm going with CYOT
2201 Scary Rap
2204 "25 or 6 To 4"
2209 "With 50,000 watts...Coyote Radio"
2214 solid ID by YL,  "Guerilla Radio"?

S9+
Big downward drift and audio hum (the tracking audio notch in SDR Console is very effectively nuking the hum out)
Thanks CYOT!

Am hearing this too in PA at 2203 w/mx.  Somewhat weak w/distorted audio.  2205 "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago.  May be hard to ID.  Definite ID at 2231 starting with "50,000 watts, Radio..."
