XLR8, I'm groovin' on the Santana. But I do like techno stuff if you ever get bored with the rock stuff.

We doing requests tonight? How about some RATM or Beastie Boys? :)

I like beasties too.

Dear XLR8,
I appreciate your electronic music. We don't get a lot here in California. There is a show on Sun. night for 2 hours on FM broadcast.  For a while you were fading in and out. I have this beverage antenna I installed for Halloween.  And it wasn't working that great for your show. Its aimed at Virginia. Then I turned off an electrical device and the noise level went down, so I can hear more. But its noisier than my skyloop. I have alligator clips on my portable and if I switch the polarity on my skyloop I get a better signal with it at the moment.

Definitely a techno fan, though I tend to prefer house.

The angry music is appreciated. I'm reading an article here about how Google and other evil corporations want to store people's genomes in their clouds. it makes me angry. I want my effing privacy.

Really long program tonight, still running at 0546 UTC with a wide variety of underground or semi-underground music. Still with a VG signal here.
Thanks for the full evening of entertainment!
Andrew

Hmmm...I think XLR8 finally signed off at 0548

I've been hearing some Daniel Johnston songs, including "Casper the Friendly Ghost" 2X. Not sure if it's still XLR8, but the signal/audio quality is fairly similar.

0604z - XLR8 ID

I would post another time stamp for "off air," but....  :D

----

0610z - Music heard, but it appears conditions are shifting here, assuming the transmission is related. Very faint signal, even with the preamp.

----

0615z - Off air. Just hearing some background utility data.
