Dasher  ~ 2 per second  ~7998.3 khz  2:49 utc  12-5-2014

Decent signal on same Dasher here, a little hard to nail the frequency down but it also looks like I'm
possibly getting parts of the UFO just above 8000 khz, I'll set up there and check it out.

Looks like an O near the top of the DDC waterfall in line with 8000 khz + ?

Yes that is a partial copy on your waterfall of the QRP beacon.
I had to play around with my receiver to get the best trace for these weak and
bothered signals. Check my last post for a fairly good copy.
Nice job RockPicker  Cheers!

The fast dasher is just starting to fade in here, I'll hear it for several seconds, then it is gone again.

Nothing else noted around 8000 right now.

That wideband noise as seen here (transmission mode???) is taking out 7994 to 8008 Khz.
Very NASTY AND VERY STRONG. It reminds me of 16 channel multiplexed HF as I swing along its frequency range.

QRP is pounding in and I can see SOMETHING above it, but no audible copy yet.... going to move antennas to see if I can peak the fast dasher.
