Its been a LONG time since I have seriously paid attention to AM BCB DX, so last night I did some "live" DXing and then some delayed DXing via the SDR.

Antenna: 330 foot wire, oriented NNW from here, generally pointing just west of lake Michigan from North Georgia.

1090 WKTE King NC 0101z Obviously cheating/over KAAY
1270 WLIK, NewPort TN, 0212z fair
560 WQAM Miamia Sports 1129z
1070 WNVY, FL. Might be a cheater. Christian Talk 0603z

910 WJCW, Johnson City TN Red Eye radio 0700
940 WFAW, Ft Atkinson WI Alone on the channel ID, maybe mentioned 94.1 FM 550 watts?
950 WWJ, Detroit, buried under many others 0700
960 W??? ID by female at 0700, Tentative WABG.

All of the regular clears are easy, on 650, 660, 670, 710, 720,740, 760 etc.

That station in Pearl River, MS. always has big signal for 10kW. I guess that's the advantage of broadcasting from a brackish swamp?

Give the grey line hours a shot. With that antenna orientation you ought to be able to nab a few West Indian stations.
