Fantastic signal with great audio into the radio room north of Chicago - sometimes the transmitter is the easy part!  Starting up with a song by Geographer and interpol in queue.
Receiver is the Racal 6790/GM into a wire dipole in the attic.  Receiver audio is patched into a mixer board feeding a pair of Sony studio monitor speakers.

Some noise and fades here tonight, but still a good signal. Floating around S7 to S9 peaks. Great audio quality, too.

Thanks for the broadcast! Plus the shoutout. :)

Kudos on keeping the NC-183D in service. Good stuff.

I have a NC-125 in working order and great condition, though admittedly, it is more of a showpiece in the home office these days.

The excellent music tonight motivated me to bother with the preselector and preamp.

Now rocking a S9+30 signal into Florida via the 148' "shielded" loop flat on the ground in the backyard.
