Old Time Radio 6770 AM 0340 UTC June 24th 2015
« on: June 24, 2015, 0341 UTC »
Barely above the noise floor on my Tecsun PL-660 receiver in Southern New York, just using the telescopic antenna this time.

Hearing some talk, now at 0341 UTC I am hearing big band music.

No ID thus far.

Old Time Radio is what we've been calling them, RW. they've been going 24/7 on that frequency for nearly two years

They were running Burns and Allen about that time last night.

Thank you Pigmeat! I mostly stick to shortwave broadcast stations, so I don't know the ins and outs of the Pirate community, thank you again!

I have a weak signal and audio now (2050z). There was not even a carrier ten minutes ago, perhaps due to the earlier flare.

Don't sweat it, RW. I think they're one of the more interesting pirate stations out there.
