« on: August 09, 2015, 0102 UTC »
Fair copy in New Hampshire, S8-S9 which is about even with the storm static - Audio was a bit low at first but quickly remedied.

0052z Yes - Roundabout
0055z ID - "Cold Country Canada, The weakest pirate station in the nation"
0105z Lou Reed - Walk on the Wild Side
0109z Manfred Mann - Blinded by the Light (Wrapped up like a dootion in the roamer in the night)
0113z Buffalo Springfield - For What it's Worth
0119z Mountain (Leslie West) - Mississippi Queen
0121z America - Horse with No Name
0125z Pretenders - Brass in Pocket
0129z James Gang (Joe Walsh) - Funk #49

Fading down into the noise now, making copy tougher

0133z Hot Chocolate - Every 1's a Winner

Just above the S3 noise level, but improving.  First noticed at 0052 with "Roundabout".
A fairly steady S4 at 0104.  Announcer with 'Chicken Band Radio[?], Cold Country Canada' and into "Walk on the Wild Side".   Announcer is stronger than the music.  Good audio on peaks.
"Blinded by the Light" @ 0108.
Lots of pesc QRM @ 0113, but announcer still clearly audible with ID's and song announcements.  Rough copy on music.
Getting noticably weaker @ 0122 with America song.
Just bits and pieces of music @ 0138, fair copy on announcer.
ID and off @ 0148.

Difficult with the noise - very poor to unusable
Enough bubbled up from the morass, for me to hear:

0106 - Take a Walk on the Wild Side
0107 - Positive ID by OM as: "Cold Country Canada - 6969..."
0108 - Blinded By the Light
0112 - ID by OM

First timer for me,
wish it would have been much better...

I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Rough copy here in SE PA  with fading at S6/S7.   Signal was at times winning vs the noise level especially with station ID's.

0048-0104 UTC

-Bad the Bone
-Walk on the Wild Side

SINPO:  25222

Thanks for the show....
