HI all, up to about 1955z I heard nothing here, then the very strong CW signal came on but it is a real crappy sounding fist to me. I can't really copy it because it seems to be run together. It just quit at 2002z
so I don't know who or what it was.
conditions are really bad today here too for the beacons.

won't be able to listen this evening as I have to go out and have fun :'( with the wife and her
friends. yipee

Chuck

just went thru some old reference material and what I found for this freq in the past was the
Iranian navy......

enenxxb sk
 interesting huh !!

that's very possible, the program had a very hard time copying it though. It sounded pretty ratty to me,
very nasty sounding to my ear.

Hi all, hope everyone had a great new year's.
I was searching back thru the UDXF logs and found that 8.350 has been logged by a person here on the east coast. It was a CW station sending 5 letter groups around the 2030z time frame, possible ID was the Cuban DGI. This was very recent so this may have been the station we were hearing.
There is a very slow and intermittent cw signal on now 1845z at about 8349.9khz.
I would like to hear the beacon.
