The Society is alive and well. All the operators
of the full time remote beacons are very much in touch.
The powers to be felt that it was time
to have less of a profile considering certain
events looming over the event  horizon.
Enough said.

On second thought this forum serves to alert and educate
SWLs who stumble across it to most of the beacons
that are out there.  If one were to read the threads that
are archived on this forum information can be gleamed.
