Northwoods Radio, 6955u,  10-23-15, 45343

S8 signal over S5 noise when I tuned in. Some kind of long narrative that wasn't terribly clear at 2351z, then right into a jazz instrumental.
2358z - Loon call, NWR ID "Broadcasting Freedom from the Great Lakes" - then off

23:58z hearing Jazz/Saxophone on the Grenoble GT remote, weak. Fading and low sig makes it hard to ID on 6955.

S9 signal with armchair copy here in the Vampire State. Piano jazz music interspersed with monologues from several sources. One was about a man that taught his a$$hole to talk. Another was a drunken man extolling on the virtuosity of Dr. Benway's surgical talents. Several IDs including one at 2308 "broadcasting freedom from the Great Lakes". A delightful change from all the pirate jukeboxes playing "Monster Mash". Addy: northwoodsradio@gmail.com.
