Background noise sounds like some sort of digital signal if I switch to USB

Nothing like that here.  Only hearing short ute transmissions on USB.
Can make out something on 6976.2 LSB to cut through static storm here.
Man talking @ 0057?
Signal showing some slight improvement.
Hearing some piano intro and people talking.  
At 0104 woman saying" "This is BBC News."
Hearing BBC news broadcast.
Can still  hear a faint signal @ 0152.

0050 OM talk over spooky noises
0102 BBC WS ID, pips - heard this just as I was looking for the Beeb net stream
0108 ID and addy repeated several times

S4 in storm QRN

Been listening on & off for a bit....Signal isn't strong, but decent copy once I switched over to LSB to avoid the UTE QRM.

About even with the noise so it is very hard to understand what he is saying. Maybe the band will improve.
