Old Time Radio (assumed) 6770 AM  25feb16  2347 UTC
Kind of weak (S4 - 6) and some QSB but some good copy. Tnx to Skipmuck for heads up, I don't usually look in this part of the spectrum - I guess pirates are where you find them! :-)
2347 - Unk YL vocal
2350 - OM comedy, Audacity is running (+7 min; 0003 ~ 10:00)
2354 - OM singing "Roll Along"?
2359 - OM announcer NBC variety show  "brought to you by Anacin, Chesterfields,"
0002 - More OM comedy routines
0010 - OM "for $50, I'll answer 3 questions"
0018 - OM "Here's a word from RCA Victor" ad for RCA TV sets
0023 - sig better with YL / OM comedy routine
0030 - sigh, a solid ID sure would be nice...
0031 - "This is the BBC" part of another comedy routine?
0101 - Amos and Andy [edit]

Nothing here at 0135 (2/26).  I had checked earlier today at about 1900 and they weren't on then either.  Before their disappearing act I was receiving this station S5 or better nearly 24 hours most days.  Curiouser and curiouser - but of course, that's all part of the fun...

Very nice S9 signal here at 0145z. I think this might be the strongest and clearest I've heard OTR.

Usual weak signal here in Central US.
Sounds like radio jingles at the moment (0145) but copy is difficult.
@ 0201 sounds like start of another radio show featuring Phil Harris.
Heavy background static making copy difficult.

Tuned in at 0102, heard Amos and Andy, poor/weak just at noise level, R2000 & dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
