HF Beacon 13564 kHz strong signal

HF Beacon on 13563 kHz, S5, solid signal with some static crashes. Difficult to believe this is a 4 mW transmitter using 1/2 wave dipole from an apartment in Madison, WI USA.

Your picking up ground wave...GNK is located in Madison...4 mw into a attic dipole
it is a power house, heard often out west ....
