UNID 6955 USB  2220 UTC APR 16
Faint signal deep in noise, but can hear music.
Some improvement in signal. Still unable to catch ID.
0136 UTC:  Had a good steady signal for over 45 minutes now.
Still going strong.
Good signal and audio.
Thanks, XLR8.

Just the barest hint of music here since 2225 UTC. Bits and pieces briefly fading up from the noise
2340 UTC Sunset almost here and the signal is picking up just a bit...
2343 UTC OM with "XLR8"
0125 UTC I'm getting S8 peaks and then into the noise with fades...
0128 UTC "East of the River Nile"-Augustus Pablo (Now that is some unique music! :))
0134 UTC "Eggy Toast"-Mike & Rich
0142 UTC "After Dark"-Tito & Tarantula
0146 UTC "Hey Joe"-Patti Smith
0215 UTC Signal has taken a nosedive... :(

0120 The Stranglers "Sweden (All Quiet on the Eastern Front)"

Tuned in at 2356utc, fair sig with low noise floor, heard song "my ebola" which at first I thought was "my pneumonia", ID as XLR8, various obscure rock tunes, R8 & dipole. (edit) Frank Zappa and his daughter Moon Unit with "valley girl" at 0022utc.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
