Skippy Radio 6925 KHz USB 6-5-2016 ~0123-0142z
« on: June 05, 2016, 0124 UTC »
Noticed this on the fish finder while listening to Wolverine. A touch over S9 on peaks, good 3 KHz modulation.

0123z Led Zeppelins 'Ramble On'
0125 pause between cuts, some audible (and visible) 60Hz hum and harmonics of such.
0126z LZ 'Whole Lotta Love'
0132z LZ 'Kasmir' occasionally slamming to S9+10dB
0139z presumed CW ID over song. 0140z CW in the clear.
0142z Appears to have gone QRT, although I still see hum modulation.  Might be time to check the house for new noise sources.

Thanks for the show!

I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Audible here in Washington state, just a skosh weaker than Wolverine. Just had an ID in CW, of which I missed all but the last word (because it happened just as I found the signal): RADIO. Real useful, that :-). Hopefully I'll be able to copy the whole thing the next time they give it.
