« on: July 26, 2016, 2053 UTC »
Not rare dx by any means but the tx in Hawaii is not normally heard here in the mid east.
Just as a note of weird props this summer

7/21/16. WWV 25 mhz open past 300utc good signal
WWVH heard on 10 mhz

7/22/16 400 utc
WWVH on 10 mhz heard , audio nearly as good as WWV
15 mhz weak , 20 mhz no signal

7/26/16  @ 250z WWVH only 15mhz . No sign of WWV in Colorado
10 mhz WWV weak  20 mhz very weak but audible

7/27/16  0019z  25 mhz

Nice. I live about 75 miles south of WWV's Tx and I have never, ever copied it on 20 MHz. I don't know how much of that is due to my Rx setup vs. living within a skip zone, because I don't know the details of how they transmit on the frequency. I never think to check for 25 MHz because it's supposed to be on only sporadically. WWVH can be heard with regularity here in Denver, but it varies with time of day and frequency.

The last time I heard 25 was over a year ago during the day. There is some fun stuff up there when it's open. Normally seasonal

I think you are in the skip zone!
Getting weak 20 mhz @2140 it's usually present here during the day

It's nice they're still running 25mhz, I like to check the master reference oscillator with it.

I can get WWV/WWVH where i am at. It depends on what frequency and how good the propagation conditions.
