Up and down quite a bit here, S5 to S9, mostly good copy with "Kill the King" by Rainbow @ 2327.  All the storms in the local area aren't helping.
2330 - "I Wanna Be Your Dog" by The Stooges.
2331 - ID
2334 - "Feel The Music" by Guru
2348 - getting a little steadier, S7 to S9 with "Give Up the Goods" by Mobb Deep.
0121 - still S7 to S9 with unknown song, back to NPR relay after RFW shut down.
0139 - still in there, but getting lots of fades now.  Poor to fair copy, replaying songlist from earlier - "Dog Eat Dog" by ACDC

Newport Pirate Radio similcast of Radio Free Whatever, 6870 AM, 0015, 8/29/16.  Music, several minutes of dead air, start of simulcast of RFW with two soft ID's for Newport Pirate Radio at 0023, then into rock and DJ Dick Weed and Staven.

00:50  solid S-7 on AM.  Listening to RFW on 6935U at the same time while here on 6780.  The 1 second delay is wild.

Tuned in at 0215utc, poor sig with static, hear old early pink floyd music, R8 & dipole.
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
