VMC Charleville QL, 6507 USB, 10/11/16, 1150 UTC

Hearing marine weather in OM voice with English accent. Faint copy which makes it hard to understand location names given. Pip heard at 1155. Per Eibi, this frequency is either VFF Iqaluit Radio from Canada or VMC Charleville QL from Australia. The latter is supposed to be on at this time and the accent would be more suited to an Australian broadcast, so I'm going with that. No station ID heard through 1201.

Heard "New South Wales" clearly at 1205.

EDIT: The frequency was 6507, not 6907 as originally posted.

VMC Charleville, Queensland and VMW in Wiluna, Western Australia are regulars here, the following are their SSB transmission frequencies:

VMC Charleville, Queensland:

2.201MHz, 4.426MHz, 6.507MHz, 8.176MHz, 12.365MHz & 16.546MHz all in USB mode.

VMW Wiluna, Western Australia:

4.149MHz, 6.230MHz, 8.113MHz, 12.632MHz & 16.258MHz all in USB mode.

Good luck, think the transmitter power is between 2 and 5Kw, not sure though.

Yaesu FT-1000D, Yaesu FT-2000D, ICOM IC-736 HF/50MHz, ICOM IC R75 & Tecsun S-2000 to 450 feet of wire, 27MHz 1/2 wave CB antenna converted to 21MHz & a multi band vertical of dubious reliability.
