If you hear a guy proclaiming himself "Captain Dave" over and over, you've got a ham who likes to haunt that frequency and play music. His call is KI4THY.
0151 hearing weak music.

Tuned in at 0200utc, good sig and audio, heavy metal music, now playing Irish tune(?), R8 & dipole. (edit) much X rated talk and ranting against hams who are (ahem) "disagreeing" with him. (2nd edit) Now it sounds like banter on CB radio.

I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Is anyone hearing the ham coming in over the music talking about how this guy is an 11 meter reject???

02:15:00 No music now and the hams are really punching it out with this guy...

It's funny that the other hams are just spinning this guy up...

There are quite a few HAMs who haunt that frequency, also 3.840 as the night progresses, during the day it's 7.200 and sometimes 14.313 (though that freq seems to be less used by the fighting elite). Long ongoing saga/drama involving mostly the same people, day and night that has been going on for years. With new players occasionally wondering in.
