Radio Zed 6925 USB 0133 UTC Oct 24, 2016
« on: October 24, 2016, 0137 UTC »
0133z Ribbon of Darkness by Marty Robbins...
0135z I'm Gonna Be a Cowboy, Marty Robbins...
0138z San Angelo, Marty Robbins...
...
0150z Return To Me, Marty Robbins...
...
0206z Copy here is pretty rough now.  They pop up and are readable for 30 seconds or so and then back down close to the noise.  Lots of atmospheric qrn here this evening.  I'm hoping for an ID before I lose them into the noise and MIL traffic.
...
0225z faded, or off.

Zed?  Cool!  Thanks!

Sounds like a Marty Robbins kind of broadcast!

S5, or so and a bit above the noise at the beginning.

0113z Fairly good into NW WA with some noise.  Not armchair, but not bad.

Appreciate the show!

Sometimes Zed has to change things up.   ;)  If you're having trouble with the QRM, give the Sedona SDR a try.

Heard from 0127 until 0222 UTC on the SDR recording, generally an SIO 222, sometimes stronger, sometimes QRM from UTE bursts.
