The last few nights the NDB band has been very poor as far as long distance (over 1,500kms) is concerned.  Heaps of beacons in the 300 to 1,000kms range, which I don't bother with and call them the "regulars".  Hopefully this summer I may be able to bag a new one or two.  Noise and thunderstorms permitting... ::)
