V24 new schedule?
« on: October 13, 2016, 1703 UTC »
South Korean numbers station observer Moomin posted two videos of V24 recorded today 13 Oct. 2016. The reported times and frequencies don't match the schedule that had been in use for the 13th of the month in use since March of this year.

13 Oct. 2016, 14:30 UTC, 4925 kHz:
https://youtu.be/9c8xSdHhWFY

13 Oct. 2016, 16:00 UTC, 5115 kHz:
https://youtu.be/t8ULCJyrm3A

Thanks to Moomin for recording and sharing.

EDIT: @ Token, so even numbers stations follow an a16/b16 scheduling protocol, eh?  ;D

This is the time of year when V24 often changes things up a bit, 5115 kHz is a past used frequency, and I think they have been caught on 4925 before also.  I have the 5115 kHz transmission in my recordings, I will have to recheck last months recordings and see if they used 5115 then also.

Add another new freq, 5150 kHz, at 1400z on day 21 for sure, and may have been there on day 19, my recordings show something there in that time period on 19th, but Chinese OTHR was almost completely covering it, so can't be sure it was V24 on the 19th.  On the 21st it was stronger than the OTHR, so could confirm it was V24.

on October 23, 4900 kHz transmitted on time, but 5150 kHz hasn't seen yet since October 21.
Recently, 5115 kHz did on October 11-13-16. Will 5150 kHz also start again today? (October 19(Not sure)-21-'24')
We need to pay attention to V24 today!  ;D

+Added on Oct 24
5150 kHz didn't transmit today.

It appears that today (10/25) V24 did transmit on 5150 at 1430z. (I forgot to tune in, but it's highlighted on the chart at this link.) But it did not transmit on 5900 at 1600z (and I was online at a few different SDR's to confirm that).

Yes, 4925 kHz was up today, although audio started 30 seconds late, at about 1430:30 UTC.  And it seems V24 may have dropped 5290 kHz from the schedule.

V24 carrier up 5115 kHz at 1554 UTC, Nov 11, 2016.  6310 kHz did not go as expected at 1530 UTC.  Looks like there has been a general V24 schedule change over the last two months.
