USAF Global HF net is active this morning on 11175 kHz usb. 1400 utc through 1530 utc.

Interesting. I was tuned into the Firedrake at 7415 this morning at around 1520, and heard something that sounded like a ham QRMing it which was weird, because that's well out of the 40m band. I found an American-accented OM speaking in NATO phonetic at 7416 USB, but it ended before I could get a recording. I thought EAM right away, but why that frequency? It's not listed as one normally used by HF-GCS

May have been a MARS member. They are often found operating near HAM bands.
