Wolverine Radio 6950 kHz USB 0130 UTC 18 December 2016
« on: December 18, 2016, 0134 UTC »
Wolverine with "Testing 123, can anybody hear me" sign on at 0130 UTC, 6950 kHz, USB mode, 18 December, 2016.

Nice signal into the high desert tonight, and sounds good on the house sound system.  Mrs T says Hiya Wolverine, and thanks in advance for the show!

(edit) Possibly a California bound theme, maybe specifically San Francisco, since I think every song has mentioned San Fran.

Tuned in at 0152utc, I hear nothing but a bit of static. R8 & dipole. (edit) at 0215utc hear what sounds like Roy Orbison under the low noise level. (2nd edit) Hear SSTV/FAX at 0238utc.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

A couple of S units above the noise, which is very low tonight. Just a bit of QSB.  ID at 0206.
Thanks for the show.

Signed off at 0244 after several SSTV images. Great copy on all of them, 5 I think. My MMSSTV program isn't working properly so I can't post the images.
