International Space Station, US HAM Shane Kimbrough, KE5HOD, 145.800 nbfm 1720Z 01/04/2017 talking about voting from space, email access, etc life aboard the space station. They wear the same clothes till they can't stand it, then throw them away. 250 miles up.

Apparently this is the iss side of eva comms, wich are full duplex and the suit transmitters being very low powered.

YL with chat regarding life aboard iss, presumably with school children asking her questions via some HAM op in the midwest. Mentions each member has their own dorm room where it can be made dark and they sleep floating about. The most interesting thing she's seen so far were the aurora australis a few days ago, green and yellow lights dancing like they were alive.

Female cosmonaut answering questions re life on iss.

"It's neat, you can fly in any direction" assumed reference to spacewalk

"We use wipes and a bag of water to clean ourselves with"

"We go to work at 7am and do science till 730pm"

"We work on science projects as well as maintain the iss, there's a lot of work to do on the iss as it's like an old house. We take care of the day to day stuff, but if there's a problem we can't handle they have to send a ship to come get us."
