New! 'Improved' Transmitter!
« on: February 14, 2017, 0649 UTC »
Well.....Have been doing some more tinkering and can now offer a somewhat improved version of my TX.

I've replaced the output device, normally and IRL510 (IRF510) with a new GaN device, vastly superior!

Running at 24V getting 100W at mod peaks is no problem (25W carrier) and have run a 40W carrier with >150W pep and whilst things are hotting up (the ferrites are starting to cook!) the actives device(s) are running normally and not under any stress.

I'm going to offer the same deal on my transmitters, $250 + postage to anywhere in the world.

PM me if interested.

Cheers

Stretchy

Frequency range has also been extended....

6920 - 6930 so 10KHz.

Some will pull a little lower 6915.

Str.

OH, some pictures attached of the 'PRODUCT'

Litterally does, fit in the palm of your hand!

This version is a special as it has an external HC6U Xtal holder and TX switch added.

Hope you like it!!
