UNID OM in English 6925 LSB 2338 UTC February 21, 2017
« on: February 22, 2017, 0051 UTC »
Hearing a loud OM talking in English saying things like "Back of the bus", "Tijuana Taxi", and "bump it up". Calling himself Mr 276 Worldwide
It seemed that he was trying to harass the peskies, but I'm not sure they either heard him or understand him if they did hear him, as the peskies were chatting in Portuguese!

Video of Mr. Worldwide 276 who was 59 in NY. He is obviously confused to what band he should be on. He is definitely from The Super Bowl on 11 meters.

Also heard here with a good signal in an SDR recording.

Hopefully, some day we can build a wall, better yet a Faraday Cage, around Pescador.

No doubt about it!

Checked the SDR recording. I heard the peskies playing music and talking around 2320z.
2331 OM "No doubt about it... how about it Mr Kilowatt.. Worldwide 276... back of the bus... put the hammer down"
2343 Gone, it seems
0012 Back again "back of the bus... Mr Worldwide 276"

The 11m freebander had a pretty strong signal. I'm not sure the peskies heard him, or if there was any interaction. I'm also not entirely sure if this was an actual 11m freebander, or someone was playing a recording of one, since it seemed to be the same phrases over and over. Although I understand that is not uncommon for 11m  ;D

Quite entertaining, I'll need to check 6925 LSB more often.

OK so this is just a guess but based on the fact that the Rap Artist Pitbull calls himself Mr. Worldwide & Mr. 305 with the 305 standing for his area code (Miami) I am guessing Mr. Worldwide 276 is from Virginia - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_code_276

He definitely sounds like a guy that is talking on the Super Bowl frequency (Channel 6: 27.025) but I have searched the nickname and come up with nothing which tells me he might not get out well like some of the famous Super Bowl characters like Motormouth Maul

good observation, ive heard quite a few local pesskies on cb as well as ~6900, smoking the entire band with obscene amounts of power and distortion.
the strongest local guy is even -mobile-, completely obliterating wide swaths of spectrum. i -will- DF that guy someday just out of sheer curiosity to see whats hes running, at least 2 systems so far, cb and outbanding around 6900. oftentimes he checks in to several adhoc nets to chat with different groups.

now that you mention it, its time to camp out on the super bowl for a while after stalking HAARP and russian bears in flight.
