Mobile whip antennas
« on: February 26, 2017, 1541 UTC »
I have one of these 40M mobile whips that was in the garage for 10 years that I never really tried/used, and thought I'd give it a shot. It actually works good with my SDRPlay. Have it on 3rd story balcony apartment.

Does it have a counterpoise? If not it might get you better sigs if it did. The downstairs neighbors might try to grab it though, you know how they are.
