UPSET 72 calling JOSHUA CONTROL
321.00MHz 1940Z 02JAN18

JOSHUA CONTROL resolves to;
 412th TW, Edwards AFB, CA (approach)

UPSET resolves to;
 KC-135R 128th ARG, WI ANG Milwaukee, WI

I don't get it. If Joshua control is in CA, and UPSET 72 is a KC135, they must be wayyyy tf up there for UPSET 72 to be calling CA and I can hear them in south Indiana. I was thinking this must be a U2, SR71, or other high flyer/fast mover up around FL80 or higher..
None of this makes sense.

UPSET 72 might have been an experimental AC, one of the fast movers that like to fly just slightly lower than going into orbit. It'd be sexy if this was a project aurora bird.

EAM over 325.400MHz, very weak sig, callsign started with R, something like Rasp Eater, 1800Z. Neacp/tacamo/glass flight burning mux on 383.550MHz 1816Z 20JAN18

Pretty sure they're sending short message fsk KG84 traffic on the orderwire pair. Don't recall fsk in use on Northstar before but they can send any mode they have the modems for, i imagine most mil modems have fsk as well as support for KG84 devices.

AAR ongoing on 366.100MHz 1744Z 25JAN18.

Multiple pilots, emergency breakaways, disconnects, and a female pilot to boot.
No tail No.s and only one callsign noted so far.
SCORE 79, one of the calls involved in the training, resolves to;
SCORE C-130H 7th Wing, Dyess AFB, TX
SCORE various VX-20 NAS Patuxent River MD

Chatter regarding commercial pilots, both work for airlines, flying 737s. Mentioned a 737-700 with -900 wings.
Ac being refueled might be a United States Navy C-40A, the USN version of the 737.

AAR ongoing on 366.100MHz 1715Z 31JAN18.

SENTRY40 78-0577 Boeing E-3A Sentry
 Squawking 5747

HAPPY51 59-1500 Boeing KC-135A-BN Stratotanker

"requirements for today; 20 to 25 fuel off the back, bunch of copilots doing precontacts, radio silent practice set, emergency sep near the end"

"One mile visual, clear astern"

Apparently SENTRY51 only has an hour for refuel training as it needs to be on orbit afterwards.
