UNID 6968.40 kHz USB 2130 UTC 23 Feb 2017
« on: February 23, 2017, 2219 UTC »
2130-2135 UTC - Heard two english speaking stations  making contact with call signs AAR4FF (male )  and AAR4KJ (female) .  Difficult to pull them out of the static, signal was S5 in WNY. Data transmissions did occur.
2200 UTC - The AAR4KJ identified again but difficult to understand, sounded like official signoff.
Any idea who it could be.  ???

Those callsigns are Region 4 Army MARS (military auxiliary radio service).

They often use 110A as the datamode, there are decoders out there freely available if your google fu is good enough. Also, sometimes the message is offline encrypted but not always.
