Interesting article in same publication: Norwegian truckers are perturbed that DAB doesn't work as well, so they aren't receiving road reports as well as they did when the national networks were on FM. Apparently the Norwegian government decided to start the phase out of the national FM networks in the northern provinces, which are arguably more prone to winter weather for longer periods.
Overall, radio listening has dropped in the areas of FM shutdown, but listenership for the commercial FM stations still on the air in those areas has shot up.
