Last days of R. Piraña Int. bcasts from South America
« on: March 30, 2017, 1028 UTC »
We are going into the last days of our SAm. transmittions. We will broadcast until monday 3rd of April 14 UTC. We have received several reports from very long away, Europe, The USA, and New Zealand! Incredible for this 10 watts carrier transmitter.
It seems that checking via the Brazilean Kiwi sdr at Padrinho, at around 05UTC is a good choice.

I caught RPI this morning by direct reception with my Perseus webSDR in Germany at 05.40 UTC
- unfortunately with strong fading and nearly illegible, but you can see the carrier -
and also via KiwiSDR at Pardinho, Brazil http://appr.org.br:8073/ with fairly good reception,
also still on at around 14.40 UTC with a relay of Radio Cochiguaz (nice Andean flute music)
and greetings to listeners for the recent reports! LPAM rules! Great stuff, Jorge!

I am listening to my SDR recording of Radio Pirana right now in fact, currently at 0134z. Quite amazing reception for so little power! Thank you for these transmissions.
